We’re built to fail.
While you're focusing your attention on scaling, we're failing as quickly as possible to find your next business. Think of us as an external discovery lab running parallelized product experiments to uncover your next breakthrough - outside of the scaling pressures, the KPIs, the politics, the sunk costs that consume your day-to-day.
We call this the Kensho model. We run hundreds of discovery experiments knowing 99% will fail - because finding the 1% requires killing bad ideas faster than your organization would ever allow. Where traditional discovery typically relies on conviction in a single direction, Kensho assumes that our initial intuition is almost certainly wrong and must be replaced by systematically exploring entire possibility spaces. It's discovery through elimination rather than inspiration.
This only works because we operate outside your walls. Your teams have revenue targets to hit, morale to maintain, resources to justify. They can't afford this level of systematic failure. They're justifiably transfixed on what must be delivered tomorrow, while we're free to discover what comes next.
We don't do year-long transformation projects or strategic roadmaps. We run experiments. We follow evidence. We systematically explore possibility spaces that intuition alone would never reveal. This is our entire model.
But what do we do?
We run zero-stage product discovery. Four to twelve weeks of systematic exploration using the Kensho platform - our system for decomposing products into primitives and recombining and testing them at scale. We test hundreds of possibilities where most would test just a handful, killing bad ideas for thousands, not millions.
We work in two modes: Advisory (teaching your teams our methods) or Full Discovery (we run everything ourselves). Most clients end up using both.
Who We Are
We're a small team that's built products at companies you know. We've been the executives making the bet, the ICs building the thing, the researchers discovering the insight. We love the sheer volume of possibility that zero-stage innovation offers, but we grew tired of watching companies (including our own) spending millions to build DOA products.
We're not consultants. We're builders who know discovery requires a completely different operating system than delivery.
